Employment Training and Services
 
Designed to serve immigrants and refugees from a variety of countries, cultures and backgrounds, the ECAC Employment Program prepares individuals to enter the workforce through training, counseling, financial literacy, job placement and post-hire follow-up. The program offers clients assistance in the areas of:

- Goal and strategy development
- Enhancement of language skills
- Job readiness training in resume writing, job searching, and interview skills
- Cultural adjustment counseling
- Accompaniment to interviews
- Job referral and placement
- Follow-up with clients and employers

The program operates interdependently with other ECAC programs to provide additional assistance in the areas of computer literacy and English as Second Language (ESL) training, as well as facilitate referral and enrollment into the Electro-mechanical Assembly Training (EMAT) Program and Matching Grant (MG) Program.
