Preferred Communities
The Preferred Communities program provides support for refugees with additional barriers to resettlement such as single-parents. This program provides individualized, intensive case management to promote self-sufficiency. The program is funded by ORR.
The UHP program is a new program at ECAC. This program is aimed at supporting the successful integration of Ukrainians to the United States. The services include intake, needs assessment, linkages to benefit systems, employment services, and referrals. The program is funded by ORR.
The Afghan Placement and Assistance program (APA) runs similarly to the R&P program. The APA program provides 90-day resettlement services to Afghans who fled the crisis in Afghanistan. The program includes R&P services, adjustment of status services, housing support, and medical support. The APA program is funded by ECDC through PRM.
